A city under siege

The Sharknado That Ate Los Angeles is a 2014 American made-for-television sci-fi disaster comedy film directed by Anthony C. Ferrante. It is the second installment in the Sharknado film series, following Sharknado. The film premiered on Syfy on July 30, 2014.

The film was met with mixed reviews from critics, but was a rating success for Syfy, becoming the most-watched cable movie of the year with 4.8 million viewers.

On August 2, 2014, Syfy announced that they were green-lighting a third Sharknado film, to air in 2015.

On July 11, 2018, it was announced that a fourth Sharknado film would premiere on Syfy on August 19. The film titled The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time, premiered on August 19, 2018.

A disaster of epic proportions in Sharknado

When a freak hurricane swamps Los Angeles, rising waters might as well be shark-infested. As a result, the city’s residents must band together to battle an onslaught of deadly shark-infested storms.

This is the premise of Sharknado, a made-for-TV movie that became an instant cult classic when it aired on the Syfy channel in 2013. The movie’s success led to two sequels, Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014) and Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (2015), both of which were also massive hits with fans.

While the Sharknado franchise is clearly ridiculous, there’s no denying that the movies are a lot of fun to watch. If you’re looking for a good way to kill an evening, you could do a lot worse than popping one of these movies into your DVD player.

Just don’t take them too seriously, or you might find yourself feeling a bit queasy.

The aftermath

The Sharknado that Ate Los Angeles was one of the most destructive natural disasters in recent memory. The city was left in ruins, and the death toll was in the thousands. In the aftermath of the disaster, the city was left to rebuild. This process was not easy, and it took many years to get the city back to its former glory.
