And taking time to remember Allah (swt) and recalling your faith in the Sunnah from the prophet (saw). In celebrating Eid it is a sign of adhering to the ways of Prophet Muhammad and his faithful followers.

A lot of emphasis is put to Christmas celebrations in Western culture, thanks to the media and even in the schools, that many Muslim parents feel they have to make up for it by making Eid an event that is truly unique. 1) Start with Moon Sighting

The night before the end of Ramadan takes your kids out to search for signs of the full moon. Bring hot chocolate and some yummy snacks and then sit down with your children. All Muslims believed that The Messenger of Allah (saw) ordered us to wear the best clothes we could find for the two Eid and to apply the best perfume we could find and to sacrifice the best animal we could find.

3) Ready them For Eid Prayer

Make it the family tradition to go to the Eid prayer in your mosque. When the day approaches it’s worth taking the time to teach your youngsters about the prayers as well as how to conduct it and the sunnah that surround the ceremony. Encourage your children to pay attention for the Eid Takbeer.

Find streamers, many different types of food invite friends and family to join in the festivities. Give small favours for the party to children. Keep in mind that Eid with the family is a time for celebration.

10) Take Your KIDS out

Eid does not have to be something you do at home. Make it a day to celebrate elsewhere. Try Eid bowling or Eid go-kart racing. So, both kids and you as a parents can enjoy themselves too. Also, you’ll have tons of photos you’ve never before seen of Eid.
