1: Update QuickBooks and Windows

  • Uncheck the box next to Proxy servers and check Automatically detect settings.
  • Click OK.

  • Choose between SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0.
  • Uncheck Check for publisher certification.
  • Click Apply and OK to save the changes.

  • Close the window.

 

3: Add QuickBooks to the Exception List of Firewall

  • In the search box on the Start menu, type “Firewall.”
  • Then you need to open the firewall.
  • After that go to Advanced Settings and select Inbound Rules.
  • Right-click and choose “New Rule”.
  • Repeat the steps for Outbound Rules.

  • Choose Program, then browse for the QuickBooks files.
  • Select the files and click “Next”.
  • Allow the connection and click Next.

  • Click Next and give the rule a name.

 

4: Correct System Date & Time

  • Close the QuickBooks Desktop window.
  • Hover over the Date and Time area in the bottom right corner of the taskbar.

  • Access the Internet Explorer browser.
