Netflix has officially renewed its popular coming-of-age mystery drama Outer Banks for a fourth season. The early renewal comes ahead of its upcoming third season premiere this coming February 23.
“Seeing Poguelandia come to life was nothing short of spectacular,” co-creators Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke said in a statement. “The Pogues are enjoying an adventure of a lifetime, and we now get to map out more twists and turns as the joyride continues into season four of Outer Banks. Thank you to Netflix, our cast, and the amazing fans who helped to make this happen.”
In addition, the first nine minutes of Outer Banks Season 3 has been revealed, featuring John B giving fans a quick recap of what happened to the Pogues in previous seasons. The sneak peek also showed the Pogues trying to enjoy life on a deserted island after their dangerous escape from Rafe during last season’s finale.

Outer Banks is created and executive produced by Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke.
