My Back Story

Before his role in “The Greatest Showman,” Timothy Mowry starred in the ABC Family television show “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.” While shooting the show, Mowry often travelled to different cities around the United States to participate in local fashion events. In this article, Mowry shares his best-dressed city tour memories and reveals why he loves dressing well.

When I was younger, my parents took me on city trips around America. We’d go to New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles – you name it! I loved learning about different cultures and meeting new people. It shaped my love for travelling and experiencing new places.

Flash forward several years, and I am back on a city trip! This time it’s for my role as Barnum in “The Greatest Showman.” The cast and crew had recently wrapped production on the film, and we were heading out on a mini-tour across various cities in North America – what fun!

As soon as we landed at each destination, our group would head out for some local-style event or night out. We booked couture shows at some of the most prestigious locations around town, attended charity galas and receptions with some of Hollywood’s top stars (and their stunning spouses), and ate delicious food mixed with beautiful people – it was all so much fun! I never imagined being able to do all of that while on location, but it made touring.

LA, City of Angels

Timothy Mowry, the actor who played P.T. Barnum in “The Greatest Showman,” took to the streets of Los Angeles earlier this year for his Best Dressed Cities Tour. He stopped by local businesses to check out their best-dressed employees and recorded his findings on Instagram stories. And while most of the stores scored high marks, there were a few standouts that Mowry found particularly astounding- especially since they’re located in one of the worst-dressed cities in America.

Mowry started his tour at J.Crew, where he spotted an employee dressed in a bright pink blazer and skirt combo. The outfit was perfect for California’s hot summers and made the store look festive and traveller friendly.

The next stop was Universal Studios Hollywood, where Mowry saw an employee wearing a chic black dress with tiers of tulle running down its length. The figure-flattering dress showed off curves subtly but elegantly, making it perfect for any occasion.

Finally, Mowry headed to Nike, where he met up with former Laker Kobe Bryant. The two men discussed Nike’s recent collaboration with NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving and how it has helped make basketball more accessible to everyone. As they talked, Mowry noticed an employee in a floor-length denim jumpsuit working tirelessly behind the counter. His denim uniform paired perfectly with Nike sneakers and created a modern piece that matched.

NSYNC and Early Hollywood

Timothy Mowry, who starred as Eddy in “The Greatest Showman” and was formerly a member of NSYNC, is now embarking on a Best Dressed Cities tour. In honour of the kick-off of his tour, Mowry took to Instagram to share a video of himself boarding the elegant train carriage for his show in Paris.

Mowry’s tour will visit cities like London, Milan, Vienna, and Zurich, where he will be stopping at some of the most fashionable spots. According to Mowry’s social media post, he’s looking forward to “sharing my love of fashion with all of you!” If you’re interested in seeing Timothy Mowry in person, check out his tour dates and purchase tickets before they sell out!

Discoveries Made Along the Way

When it comes to dressing up for events, Tim Mowry, who played P.T. Barnum on the hit show “The Greatest Showman,” knows a thing or two. The musical icon recently embarked on his Best Dressed Cities tour and let us in on some of his best fashion tips for looking sharp.

1) Tie everything together with a single piece of fabric: When it comes to dressing up for special occasions, one important rule is to tie everything together with a single piece of fabric. This way, you won’t have to worry about having multiple pieces of clothing that can get messy or tangled up in each other. When you tie everything together, it also makes it easier to move around and dance if needed!

2) Use bias tape: One great way to add visual interest to your outfit is by using bias tape. It’s perfect for creating intricate patterns and can be used anywhere on your outfit – like along the hemline or around necklines – to inject glamour into your look!

3) Use bright colours: When it comes to dressing up for special occasions, don’t be afraid to experiment with bright colours! Not only will they add some fun flare to your look, but they also tend to stand out more which can help you stand out from the crowd.

4) Accessorize wisely: Another key element when dressing up for special occasions is accessorizing well
