Sunglasses for women are a form of protective eyewear designed primarily to prevent bright sunlight and high-energy visible light from damaging or discomforting the eyes. Sunglasses of this type are sometimes called mirror shades. A mirror coating does not get hot in sunlight and it prevents the scattering of rays in the lens bulk.
