Royal Caribbean Cruise

The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line is the perfect cruise for adults. The ships are filled with a wide range of recreational facilities, including rock climbing, zip lining, and indoor sky diving, and the best part is that they are all free. Unless you have sailed the Royal Caribbean a couple of times, you might not know the best times to go for the different activities and how to make the reservation for the different shows ahead of time.

Luckily our team has been on several cruises on the Royal Caribbean, and we have a few helpful tips that will help you along the way.

Choose The Right Time To Take Part In The Recreational Activities

The Royal Caribbean cruises are like playgrounds for adults. They have a wide range of free recreational facilities. The only disadvantage is that everyone wants to try the facilities all at the same time. So if you want to try all the activities, you should try one on the embarkation day or when the ship is at the port.

Reserve For The Main Theater Shows Before You Board

The Royal Caribbean has some of the best theater shows, such as ice-skating, jaw-dropping Broadway and high-diving acrobatic shows, making it the best cruise line for entertainment. The seats for these shows fill up very fast, and you can reserve their seats after booking, which we recommend.

It is essential that the reservation only includes admission to the show but not seat allocations. If you haven’t made a reservation, there is a chance you can get a seat when some of the passengers do not show up. It is also a great idea to arrive at least 15 minutes early to the show to ensure you get a good spot.

Use The Cruise Planner

You can get discounted drinks and dining packages when you book early only through their Cruise planners. You can also check their Wi-Fi deals and other guided shore excursions the cruise line provides. It is important to note that the Cruise Planner closes three days before the departure date.

Plan Your Day Trip Itinerary

After you have spent some days on the cruise ship, it is always a great idea to head out to the different ports and explore. If you like making plans, you can make sure you book the day’s activities for the trip in advance. There is limited time away from the boat, so planning is the best way to have a worry-free excursion.

Look Beyond the Buffets for Your Meals

Most cruisers flock to the buffets during meal times. It is a free and fast way to stack your plate high, even with desserts. However, it can be chaotic at peak dinner times, especially early morning during port days and around lunch times.

To avoid heavy crowds, you can head to one of the ship’s complimentary specialty restaurants or the main dining rooms. Johnny Rockets and Solarium Bistro are perfect examples of where you can eat breakfast. Other lunch options inched the Café Promenade, Sorrento’s, Café Two70 (Quantum Class), and Park Café (Oasis Class)

Save You Money with The Drink of The Day

If you are looking for ways to save money while on board the Royal Caribbean but still want to have the time of your life, the Royal Caribbean has the ‘drink of the day’, which costs around $2 or $4  less than other cocktails being served.

If you love drinking, you might consider getting a beverage package that allows you to pay a base price for unlimited drinks. If you have already booked your trip, keep checking the Cruise Planner for offers on beverage packages with discounts.

Book for Parking Early

When driving to the terminal, ensuring that your parking is safe and secure when going on your cruise is essential. If you plan to drive to Miami to catch the cruise, you might consider saving and securing parking for your car. We recommend booking your parking space early to avoid inconveniences due to the upcoming spring break.

At Safe Cruise Parking, we ensure your vehicle is safe while you are on vacation. You can book your slot early to save some cash. Safe Cruise Parking is located at 189 NE Second Street, Miami, FL 33132. Check out some directions to get to our lot below.
