Dayvon Bennett
Dayvon Bennett, professionally known as king von autopsy, was a Chicago-based rapper. He was signed to Lil Durk’s Only the Family record label and Empire Distribution. The label helped Bennett develop his rapping skills. His music was influenced by Hip-Hop and R&B.
Bennett’s family roots span the globe. He grew up in Chicago. He is the son of Silk and the brother of Kayla and Jay Louie. His family consists of several different ethnicities, including African Americans. In addition to his parents, he also has half-sisters and half-brothers.
King Von was born and raised in Chicago’s O’Block neighborhood. While he missed Chicago, he was comfortable in Atlanta. The city’s rap scene is one of the largest in the country, and he was on the rise. Lil Durk
Lil Durk has broken his silence on the passing of King Von, his labelmate and collaborator. The rapper took to Instagram to share his reaction to the news. He wrote, “MY TWIN GONE,” next to a picture of the late rapper. The rapper was close to King Von, having grown up together in O’Block, Chicago. The two had been recording music together for about a year before Von’s death.
Durk and Von grew up in the same neighborhood and collaborated on seven tracks, including “Still Trappin” off of Durk’s 2020 album The Voice. The album’s cover features a photo of the duo, along with the words “Long live Grandson.” Lil Durk and Von also worked together on “Evil Twins” off Von’s 2014 album What It Means to Be King.
Malcolm Stuckey
King Von has been linked to the killing of Barnes. He is a member of the gang Gangster Disciples, which has a violent history with rival gangs. He also went by the nickname KTS Von, which means Kill To Survive. Von is also accused of murdering a man who had been a friend of his.
King Von was 19 years old when he was charged with murder and attempted murder in the 2014 murder of Malcolm Stuckey. In addition to Stuckey, King Von was also charged with the murder of another man, Michael Wade. Ultimately, King Von was acquitted and served three years in prison.
Timothy Leeks
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office said on Friday that Leeks remains in custody. He was arrested in August 2020 on charges of violating the Georgia Controlled Substance Act, theft by receiving stolen property, and obstruction of justice. Authorities confiscated firearms and marijuana valued at nearly $16,000 during the investigation.
Leeks is currently being treated for a gunshot wound at Grady Hospital. The Atlanta Police Department has released the man’s identity as lul tim. Leeks is the suspect in the homicide of King Von, a Chicago rapper. The incident occurred outside the Monaco Hookah Lounge. Three people were killed in the shootout.
The shooting began after two groups of men began an argument outside the lounge. Gunfire erupted, and on-duty and off-duty police officers confronted the men. Three of the men were killed, while the three others were taken to a hospital. Three people were also injured. Leeks has been charged with murder.
His posthumous album
“What It Means to Be King” is the second studio album by American rapper King Von. It was posthumously released on March 4, 2022. The album features eight tracks and is a tribute to King Von’s life. The album features songs written by King Von and produced by rapper Lil’ Wayne.
The late hip-hop legend left a large legacy behind him. As his estate prepared the posthumous album, they revealed artwork of the “What It Means To Be King” and “Welcome to O’Block” tracks. The artwork also featured the artist’s handwritten lyrics. His family decided to greenlight the album, and the album features contributions from several of Von’s contemporaries. For instance, G Herbo and 21 Savage appear on the album’s “Don’t Play That” track. The album also features Moneybagg Yo, Lil Durk, Dreezy, and Boss Top.
“What It Means To Be King” captures King Von’s passion for the streets and the southside of Chicago. The album’s raw conviction and urgency are clear in the album’s songs. Von’s music explores the circumstances of his birth and his experiences there.
