Only official resellers of any software are allowed to use the company’s logo’s on their websites (you may have noticed we do not have Sage logo’s on this site).
Most accounting software uses a company for Mobile payments, credit card processing, someone like google checkout, Sagepay, Worldpay, PayPal, etc is usually fine. Can you see a contact number on the website? If there is no answer it’s probably not a good sign. Also, any web trader must display their address and contact details on the website.
They should also have terms and conditions on the website, read them. Beware of too bigger discounts, if one company is offering something significantly cheaper than anyone else there could be something fishy going on.
Don’t buy second-hand software, many vendors do not allow their software to be bought and sold second-hand, so you may find that the software is not legally yours, even though it was possibly bought and sold with good intentions.

Has more features than “Accounts” the main difference being the addition of Project Costing and Stock Allocation, but still only available for 2 users.
Sage 50 Accounts Professional
For businesses who need a maximum of 10 users on the software at the same time. This version includes Purchase Order Processing, Sales Order Processing, and Foreign Trader functionality.
