Class Action Suit Filed Against Philips in Connection with the Removal of Certain Philips Brand Models from the Market Due to Electrical Safety Hazard. The Plaintiffs, on behalf of themselves and all others similarly situated, allege violations of state and federal warranty laws as well as deceptive trade practices related to the removal of certain Philips-branded models from the market. What Claims Does the Settlement Cover?

The Philips CPAP recall settlement covers the following models: System One (RX1110 and RX2110), System One BiLevel (RX5111 and RX6111), RemStar Pro BiPAP, RemStar BiPAP Auto, RemStar Compact Plus BiPAP Auto, Respironics OptiLife, ResMed S9 Escape. The settlement provides two options to owners of affected models: 1) Replacement with same model or 2) Repair and refund. The replacement options are either a new unit of the same model or an alternate brand of the same type of device.
