A TikToker and her mother have been found guilty of murdering her mum’s lover after he threatened to expose her sex tapes.
Mahek Bukhari, 24, and her mum Ansreen Bukhari, 46, were both convicted at Leicester Crown Court today (Friday, August 4) after they ran Saqib Hussain, 21, off the road in a February 2022 car chase.
The court heard the two women came up with a plan to “silence” Hussain, using cash to lure him in before launching an “ambush”.

Hussain was travelling at 100mph when his Skoda crashed, “split in two” and burst into flames, killing him and his friend Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin, 21.
Both women, of Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, denied two counts of murder.
Jurors found both Mahek and Ansreen guilty on two counts of murder after deliberating for more than 28 hours.

Fellow defendants Rekhan Karwan and Raees Jamal were also found guilty on two counts of murder, while Natasha Akhtar, Ameer Jamal and Sanaf Gulamustafa were all found not guilty of murder, but were convicted of two counts of manslaughter.
Jurors found Mahek took part in the “ambush” after Hussain threatened to leak X-rated material he had taken during his long-term affair with married Ansreen.
The pair had in a relationship for around three years and Hussain “appeared to be in love” with her.
The court heard Ansreen was eager to end the relationship by January 2022 but Hussain was growing “increasingly obsessive” and wouldn’t accept the end of their dalliance and “took to attempting to blackmail Ansreen,” threatening to send sex tapes they had recorded to her husband.
On January 4, Mahek texted her mum: “I’ll get him jumped by guys and he won’t know what day it is.”
She also sent a message to Hussain warning: “I am sorry that this year you’ll be gone, Saqib.”
Prosecutors claimed the Bukharis “lured” Hussain to meet them under the pretence of giving him back the £3,000 he said he spent on dates with Ansreen over the course of their illicit affair.
But instead he and Ijazuddin, who had given Hussain a lift to Leicester for the meeting as a “favour”, were subjected to a high-speed chase which led to the deadly crash.
In a 999 call made by Hussain moments prior to his death, he said their car was being “rammed off the road” by two cars driven by people in balaclavas.
Jurors were told the incident was “no ordinary traffic accident”.
Meanwhile Ijazuddin’s family described his death as “extremely painful”.
Speaking after today’s conviction, they said: “The day we found out Hashim had died, our world came crashing down. His death has changed everything.
“Everyone who knew Hashim loved him. His death is not just a massive loss to our family but also to our whole community.
It has been extremely painful not only losing Hashim at such a young age, but also in the circumstances in which we lost him.”
Judge Timothy Spencer KC thanked the jury, made up of five men and seven women, and excused them from jury duty for the next 30 years.
