Udyog Aadhar is now known as Udyam Registration, implemented by the government with effect from 1st July 2020. It is new MSME process which has simplified the old registration process.

What is an Udyam Registration Certificate?

Udyam Registration Certificate, also known as Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM), is a self-declaration document that is issued by the Government of India to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and micro enterprises. It is a 12-digit unique identification number that serves as proof of registration for the enterprise. The certificate is issued by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and is valid for a period of five years. With this registration, the enterprise gets benefits like subsidies, tax exemptions, and easier access to credit.

It is a free of cost registration process and the certificate can be obtained through the official Udyam registration portal at https://udyamregistration.gov.in/ 

Steps to Print the Udyam Registration Certificate

Below is the mentioned simple procedure that will guide you to print your Udyam Registration 

  • Go to the official Udyam registration portal at https://udyamregistration.gov.in/ 
  • Log in using your registered mobile number and OTP
  • Click on the “View/Print” button next to the Udyam registration number
  • Your Udyam certificate will be displayed on the screen, you can then print it by clicking on the “Print” button or by pressing “Ctrl + P” on your keyboard.

Please note that to print the certificate you should have a printer connected to your computer.
