How to banish breakouts and keep your skin looking flawless

2. Avoid Scrubbing Your Skin

 

If you scrub harder than you need, your body’s detox process gets weaker, not stronger. Scrubbing your loofah vigorously across breakouts effectively damages your skin’s protective barrier, making your skin substantially more susceptible to infection. Infected skin can result in more breakouts and lead to any existing blemishes worsening.

You’ll want to change out your loofahs every three to four weeks since they have bacteria, again providing you with plenty of opportunities to develop skin diseases and blemishes.

3. Avoid Heavy Lotions

If you have acne-prone skin and avoid heavy body lotions made with rich emollients like shea butter and coconut oil, they may cause your skin to become blocked. 4. Change Out Your Gym Clothes ASAP
