2. State FSSAI registration

State FSSAI registration is required for food businesses that have an annual turnover of more than Rs. 12 lakhs and up to Rs. 20 crores. This registration is suitable for medium-sized food businesses that operate within a state.

3. Central FSSAI registration

Central FSSAI registration is required for food businesses that have an annual turnover of more than Rs. 20 crores. This registration is suitable for large food businesses that operate in multiple states or have a presence in the international market.

Documents required for FSSAI registration

The following documents are required for FSSAI registration:

1. Identity proof of the proprietor or partner or director, such as Aadhar card, PAN card, or voter ID card.
2. Address proof of the food business, such as electricity bill, water bill, or property tax receipt.
3. Proof of ownership or rental agreement of the food business premises.
4. List of food products that the business intends to manufacture or trade.
5. A copy of the Food Safety Management System plan.
6. A photograph of the food business premises.
7. Declaration form.
