Besides the obvious exception of Lina, the professional 7.32e meta has the same exact heroes as its predecessor.
When 7.32d was released, there wasn’t a significant change in the meta, but it at least ushered in some changes in the hero picks. When a patch goes on for too long, the least you expect is some letter patches that will keep things fresh as much as possible.
Valve pulled a quick one on everyone and when the entire community expected Dota 2 patch 7.33 to be released, gave us patch 7.32e. Well, you can give them the benefit of the doubt, that they want to do a good job on the big patch so they’re taking all the time to make sure it is a good update. But considering patch 7.32 has housed two DPC Majors and TI11, and will likely host the upcoming Berlin Major as well, shouldn’t there be a good stir up of heroes caused by patch 7.32e? That isn’t the case at all! Except for Lina, the entire set of heroes are pretty much the ones we’ve been seeing for the 2023 DPC Winter Tour. Let’s take a look at what the first eight to nine days of professional games on patch 7.32e show.
Things are heating up right from the start of the Spring Tour in the Dota Pro Circuit Spring Tour Western European regional league.

For undisclosed reasons, OT had to play with a standin in the offlane vs GG. Luckily, they were able to bring in Dmitry “Nefrit” Tarasich, who has been in trials with them when the team was looking for an offlane player.
ESL Pro Tour, EPT in short, is set to start next month with the best teams worldwide playing in a compact format for a $1M prize pool and tickets to the 2023 Riyadh Masters, which becomes the EPT Championship.
ESL Pro Tour seasons will run under the DreamLeague series and will start with Season 19 in less than a month, on April 9, 2023. A total of 16 teams from around the world will receive an invite to the EPT based on their placement in an Elo ranking system created by ESL, especially for their Pro Tour.

While most teams or players announce their intentions and new rosters, one group has quietly registered itself on the page, piquing interest from the community and fans.
Team Secret’s new lineup will include Armel “Armel” Tabios and Daniyal “yamich” Lazebnyy as they battle to get out of Division II in the Spring Tour.
Few would have predicted Team Secret’s fall from grace in the first tour of the 2023 DPC season, but the team had more difficulties gelling with Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan replacing Michal “Nisha” Jankowski.
It seems that The International 2022 runner-up team lost this post-TI shuffle game.

In order to prevent a complete disaster of a year, Team Secret is making some changes before the DPC 2023 Season Spring Tour.
While Muerta’s arrival was highly anticipated, her assimilation in the game hasn’t been the best as Dota 2’s latest hero struggles with her win rate.
There was a time when new Dota 2 heroes were absolutely overpowered, so that they would get picked ergularly and players would get used to the hero. Heroes like Monkey King, Hoodwink and Marci were destroying pubs in their first few days. But in recent times, the trend of having overpowered new heroes has reversed to an extent. Dawnbreaker was so weak on her release, that she needed an immediate set of buffs, as did Primal Beast. And it seems like Muerta, who was released in The Dead Reckoning Update along with Dota 2 patch 7.32e, will need the same boost to keep players interested in her.
Right after she was released, we took a closer look at her skills and talents and how they can be used. A little more than four days after her release, let’s look at how she is faring in pubs.

The former Team Knights players, along with some EHOME and other pro players have received bans by Valve and Perfect World for ‘foul play’.
Earlier today, 46 players mainly from China received a ban from Valve and Perfect World as reported by Dota 2 official Weibo account. That is nearly the entire new generation of Chinese professional players.
Which means the DPC 2023 Spring Tour for China is going to need a quick and massive overhaul of teams before next week.
We take a closer look at the abilities, talents, and potential in general of Dota 2’s latest hero, Muerta.
It has been a while since Dota 2 has been embraced with a new carry, and the latest hero added to the ranks fills that void. Muerta was introduced to the game after the Lima Major ended along with Dota 2 patch 7.32e. The 124th hero in Dota 2 is an intelligence hero, and will most likely be played as a right clicker. Let’s take a closer look at her skills and talents to see how Death’s second in command can be put to the best use in the game.
Team Secret will have a different offlane duo to fight for promotion in the Spring Tour.
According to an official announcement by Team Secret, both Roman “Resolut1on” Fomynok and Baqyt “Zayac” Emiljanov have been benched until the organization finds a “fitting home for them.” The announcement implies that while Reso and Zayac won’t be competing with Team Secret in the second Tour of the 2023 Dota Pro Circuit, they are not free agents either.
After a long wait for a new patch, Valve have only released a letter patch in the form of Dota 2 patch 7.32e. But at least there is a new hero, Muerta, to go with it.
Everyone was expecting a huge patch with massive changes to drop in the form of Dota 2 patch 7.33 right after the Lima Major. But once again, Valve have managed to leave a bit of a sour taste in the Dota 2 community’s mouths by extending the longest patch ever and giving it a new letter to release patch 7.32e.
There are silver linings though, as the Dead Reckoning update does bring to the game Muerta, the hero that was announced at TI11. Besides that, there is a new mini-game called ‘The Dead Reckoning’, as well as a few hero and item changes. The full set of changes can be found here.
