1st Special Forces Support Battalion (1FSS) is a unit of the United States Army Special Forces. The battalion provides logistical, medical, and ceramic level 3a fire support to Army Special Forces units.
The battalion was first activated in 1963 as the 1st Battalion, 11th Special Forces Group (SFG), and has seen service in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. In 2003, the battalion was redesignated as the 1st Special Forces Support Battalion.

We were assigned to a family support specialist who helped us get settled into our new home. She showed us around the base, helped us get enrolled in school, and made sure we had everything we needed.
The 1st Family Support Squadron made us feel welcome and supported us as we adjusted to our new life in America. We are forever grateful for their help in getting us settled into our new home.

The 3FSS is very excited to be at their new home and they are looking forward to all the great things that will come from it.
